Health Information
Step 1
The first step in getting to know you and your needs is getting to know your past medical history. Upon arrival, you will have a chance to fill out our health history forms or you can save about 15 minutes by CLICKING HERE and filling out those forms ahead of time.
Benefits Check
Step 2
While you are filling out the forms in the office, our team would be more than happy to perform a complimentary benefits check to see what coverages you have and how we can make care most affordable for you.
Consultation
Step 3
During your consultation, we will discuss your health history, concerns you are having with your health, and what your goals are. This will help us understand how we can best serve you and determine if you will benefit from neurologically-based chiropractic care.
Complete Neurological Assessment
Step 4
Again, your health is our main priority. Because we know that pain is often a sign of long-term dysfunction, we want to know exactly how your nervous system is functioning.
Our state-of-the-art thermal technology can assess the entire spine to pinpoint the exact location of your aches and pains and assess where your nervous system may be functioning less than optimal and therefore CAUSING your aches, pains, or discomfort.
At Turning Point Chiropractic, we understand that there are multiple factors when it comes to measuring health. One of the measures we proudly assess is Heart Rate Variability or HRV. HRV, simply put, is the variance between our heartbeats. This variance is controlled by our primitive autonomic nervous system which controls and coordinates every single function in our body. Current research shows that HRV values are impacted by stress and its use is becoming more and more valued as the new promising assessment for physiological health and stress.
Our goal is to make sure that your body is in a state of balance because balance is vital to your health. Your body's ability to switch from a sympathetic (fight or flight) to a parasympathetic (rest, digest, and heal) state is crucial for overall health and ability to adapt to stress. Find out how your nervous system is functioning with our assessments by booking an appointment today!
Digital Postural analysis
Step 5
Understanding your current state of posture is key to understanding how we can help you achieve optimal health. Our bodies are born with 3 specific curves in our spine which act as not only a shock absorber for all of our daily activities but also act as a vital protective barrier to our central nervous system (ie. what controls and coordinates all functions in our body). When we have poor posture, it puts a constant strain on the spine, joints, and muscles but more importantly, it puts constant TENSION on the spinal cord. Over time, this can lead to a variety of health issues.
This is why we take the time to analyze whether your head is on straight... quite literally. Having this critical information will allow Dr. Arnold to be as specific and effective with his recommendations as possible.
Second visit
Step 6
After Dr. Arnold has had a chance to review all of the information collected on your first visit, we will be able to present more details about how we can help, how much it will cost, how long it will take, and what expectations for care will look like.
It is important for us to know exactly where, how, and why we will be adjusting certain problem areas in your spine.
