When we think of what "health" means, our minds probably go straight to the question "am sick or in pain?".  However, what we know is that HEALTH is not merely just the absence of pain and symptoms but rather the ability for your body to adapt to all types of stresses and stressors.  Since WELLNESS is being in a state of HEALTH, we want to remove anything in our body that will decrease our chances of obtaining health.
Research shows that chiropractic adjustments affect the nervous system by not only effectively removing pain but restoring communication between the brain and the body.  By making specific and gentle corrections to misalignments in the spine, we can help prevent health concerns as well as maintain or improve quality of life.  Ultimately, this is how the body is meant to heal, from the inside-out.
